Joe Taylor and the Red Birds were a household name in country music -- especially around Indiana -- but that was far from the Indiana native's only achievement in country music. Taylor penned Tex Ritter's 'He's a Cowboy Auctioneer' and worked with legends like Ernest Tubb, Bill Anderson and Johnny Cash. He is also the father of country singer Paula Jo Taylor. Joe Taylor died in March at age 89.
