Justin Moore will soon be releasing his upcoming album 'Off the Beaten Path,' and in celebration, he'll head back a well-worn path he's very familiar with -- his alma mater.

The country star will perform a free public concert on Friday, Sept. 13 at the University of Arkansas, and his performance will be a part of Family Weekend. For those not familiar with this exciting weekend, it's fun-filled with football -- and that weekend, Arkansas has a home football game against Southern Mississippi the day after Moore's show. Not only will the singer perform, he'll also attend the game as a special guest of his alma mater, cheering on his favorite team, the Razorbacks!

"I'm thrilled to marry two things that I love together, country music and the Arkansas Razorbacks," Moore says in a release. "There is no better place for me to play on a Friday night than my home state of Arkansas  and no better place to be on a Saturday than up on the hill. The fact that we can do both at the same time, is very cool. Not to mention, it coincides with the album coming out. Can't wait to call the Hogs!"

Fans will be able to hear old and new hits from the 'Point At You' hitmaker, who has two Gold-certified albums. The concert falls right before his upcoming album is released, due out Sept. 17. He will also stick around after the show to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans.

Sounds like a winning situation for Arkansas fans and Moore. Hopefully it will turn out to be a winning evening for the Razorbacks!
