Kellie Pickler Has a ‘Blast’ Filming ‘90210’ Episode

Kellie Pickler makes her acting debut in less than two weeks. Her episode of the CW's '90210' airs on October 18, and the 'Tough' singer couldn't be more excited. "Had a blast filming with the cast of 90210!! So exciting!!!" Pickler recently tweeted.

Pickler plays Sally, the country singer cousin to actor Justin Deeley's Austin. PEOPLE shared a first look at her role in the pictures seen here, and reports that she'll perform her new single, 'Tough,' during a talent show to raise money for cancer treatment. "Everyone was so welcoming," Pickler says. "I enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone and I'd love to do it again, but at the end of the day, I want to be on the radio."

'Tough' is the first single from Pickler's forthcoming third studio album. Later this season, Billy Ray Cyrus will also appear on '90210' as Austin's dad. It seems the young lad comes from quite the country pedigree. Cyrus' episode airs in November.
