Kimberly Perry of the Band Perry got engaged to Texas Rangers catcher J.P. Arencibia earlier this year. Despite their busy careers, Perry has revealed the target time for their upcoming nuptials and it’s somewhat surprising.

Perry said that she and Arencibia will tie the knot in the summer, which is smack dab in the middle of and at the height of both the touring and MLB seasons!

“Yeah, we’re looking at summertime,” the singer said (quota via Country Weekly). “And so, it’s gonna be a busy year. I think we have one 24-hour period to get it done.”

Planning a wedding is a huge, time-consuming deal but we have faith in Perry that she’ll get ‘er done! The window of time may be tight but we bet the couple can pull it off. From Perry’s statement, it sounds like the duo may swap vows this coming summer.

Once again, congrats to Kimberly Perry and J.P. Arencibia on their upcoming nuptials.
