Lady Antebellum didn't just have the privilege of performing during the 41st Annual People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, they also took home a crystal trophy! The trio were up against some tough competition, but ultimately took home the prize for Favorite Country Group.

After their rockin' performance of 'Freestyle,' Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley once again took to the microphone, but this time for an award. A quality country group offers musicianship, storytelling and -- of course -- tight pants (looking at you, Charles!) and Lady A offer all of those things. The trio was nominated against Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band, the Band Perry and Florida Georgia Line.

On the way to the podium, Kelley stopped for a quick hug from Ellen DeGeneres.

“We love you Ellen," Haywood remarked. "Thank you for everything."

First and foremost, the group thanked their fans, since the People's Choice winners are chosen by them. “We truly have the greatest, greatest job in the world," Scott gushed before thanking their supportive families as well, mentioning that it was her three year wedding anniversary.

“We are just so grateful … so grateful to be here," she concluded, before Kelley yelled: "Come see us on the tour!"

The band announced their Wheels Up Tour this week, as well.
