Lauren Alaina will once again hit the 'American Idol' stage where her dreams of country stardom first came into focus. Alaina is joining other past 'Idol' contestants-turned-celebrities who will perform on an upcoming episode in Season 11. Others taking the iconic stage soon are Chris Daughtry, Adam Lambert and James Durbin.

Alaina will pop up in the March 8 episode to perform her hit 'Georgia Peaches.' "I think it's gonna be such a great feeling to go back to Idol and be on the other side," she said in a statement. "It will be great to perform without the stress of the competition on my mind! I am excited to show the Idol viewers what I have been doing since last appearing on the show. It's going to be like a homecoming."

Daughtry, who became famous as a result of his success on Season 5, will actually use his performance time on the March 15 show to debut the new single 'Outta My Head' from his record 'Break the Spell.'

As for the 'Georgia Peaches' singer, she says she is hoping to just stay relevant, and has been touring as a part of Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party Tour as of late. “I’m just trying to get my name out there a little bit more and be able to perform as much as I can,” she told Taste of Country before heading out on the road for the big tour.

The emerging country starlet recently filmed an episode of 'Day Jobs,' a show on Great American Country that shows how stars made a living before music paid the bills. Alaina returned to her high school job at Cici's Pizza in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., where she showed viewers how she used to serve pizza after school. Watch for Alaina's 'Idol' appearance on Thursday (March 8) and her 'Day Jobs' appearance sometime between April and May.
