Little Big Town took home one of the biggest country awards at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Jan. 28), winning Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Better Man."

The band members were not on hand at the ceremony prior to the televised broadcast, and host Paul Shaffer accepted the award on their behalf, joking that he would take it home and put it on his own mantel "because I showed up."

"Better Man" edged out Midland's "Drinkin' Problem," Lady Antebellum's "You Look Good," Zac Brown Band's "My Old Man" and Brothers Osborne's "It Ain't My Fault." The song was written by Taylor Swift, who was nominated for Best Country Song for penning "Better Man." That award went to Chris Stapleton and Mike Henderson for "Broken Halos."

The Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance was handed out before the 2018 Grammys, during the Grammy pre-show, which was live-streamed at the Grammy website. In country, only the Best Country Album will be presented live during the 2018 Grammys on Sunday night. Maren Morris, Stapleton, Brothers Osbrone and Eric Church are among the country performers, and Little Big Town will also hit the stage during the main broadcast.

The televised 2018 Grammy Awards begin at 8PM ET on CBS. James Corden will host.
