Little Big Town vs. Lonestar – Taste of Country March Bandness 2013, Round 1

It's difficult to argue that either of these country bands do not belong in the field of 16 that make up Taste of Country's March Bandness. Lonestar carried the vocal group tradition into the '00s, while Little Big Town have never sacrificed artistry -- even when a more polished pop sound was in style. 

Only one of these great country groups can move on, though, and it's up to fans to decide which one it will be. Choose either the 'Amazed' hitmakers or the 'Boondocks' singers and then go tell your Lonestar or LBT-loving friends to do the same. The winner will move on to face either Alabama or Josh Abbott Band.

Fans will decide this round (and every round) in this 16-team battle to determine the best band of all time. You’re allowed to vote once every hour. Any voter found to be outpacing that rule will be deemed ineligible, forfeiting their votes. Voting for the Round 1 matchups will end on Sunday March 17 at 11:59PT ET.

The overall March Bandness winner for 2013 be announced on April 8, the day of the NCAA national championship basketball game.
