Mallary Hope and Husband Welcome Baby Girl

Mallary Hope and husband Ryan Dokke are officially parents! The happy couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on Monday (Jan. 19).

And it seems Scarlett Ruth Dokke came loaded with with a full head of hair. The couple used Hope's Instagram account to share the first picture, which shows the beautiful baby with her dark locks tucked under a tiny pink bow.

Scarlett was born at 11:15AM local time on Jan. 19, 2015. She checks in at 7.4 lbs. and measures 18.5 in. long.

"Mommy and I are both healthy and thankful that was an easy, painless birth," the photo caption reads, from baby's point of view. "Daddy is so in love with me already. Thank you all for praying for us."

Hope and Dokke wed in April of 2014. Dokke is also in the music business -- he's the VP of Promotion at Curb Records. Although the two married rather quickly, the songstress insists she wasn't pregnant before they wed.

"No I didn’t get knocked up and then get married," she captioned the pregnancy announcement photo on her Instagram page seven months ago. "I got married in April and this happened in May. Do the math. haha."

Hope is best known for 'Love Lives On,' the title track of her debut EP. She also released 'Blossom in the Dust,' which climbed to the Top 50 of the charts in 2010.
