Martina McBride has had a busy year already. Her new record hit shelves in April, she's been touring since early in the year, and she'll even be releasing a cookbook in October! Not one to settle down, the country powerhouse has just announced that she's adding a whole new leg to her tour!

McBride will add 40 more dates to her Everlasting Tour, hitting cities all across the U.S. through December. With an 11-piece band backing her, the country star has said that the Everlasting Tour is a completely new kind of concert for her, and it seems that she's loving every minute of it.

“We’ve worked hard to put together a show that is visually entertaining as well as very rich musically,” McBride says. “There's so much for the audience to see and experience."

The Everlasting Tour is in support of McBride's twelfth studio album 'Everlasting,' which features covers of some of the most iconic soul and R&B songs, including the Supremes' 'Come See About Me' and Otis Redding's 'I've Been Loving You Too Long.' But that doesn't mean the live show excludes some of McBride's biggest hits like 'This One's for The Girls' and 'Independence Day.'

"I feel like this show really takes the audience on a musical journey," says the songstress. "The songs from 'Everlasting and my hits blend seamlessly together throughout the night."

Seven of the dates for the second leg of the Everlasting Tour have already sold out. For more information on tickets, got to McBride's official website.
