Martina McBride's new single, 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It,' isn't nearly as lighthearted as her last hit, 'Teenage Daughters.' In this emotional track, she sings from the point-of-view of a 38-year-old woman with three kids who's just been told by her doctor that she has cancer.

When you’re weak, I’ll be strong / When you let go, I’ll hold on / When you need to cry, I swear that I’ll be there to dry your eyes / When you feel lost and scared to death, like you can’t take one more breath / Just take my hand, together we can do this / I’m gonna love you through it,” McBride sings powerfully in the song's chorus.

Even though they catch the woman in the song's breast cancer just in time, she has to face the ultimate struggles. In the end, she is able to make it through with her husband's love.

While 44-year-old McBride sings it like she wrote it -- and she does have three kids -- 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It' was penned by Ben Hayslip, Jimmy Yeary and his wife, Sonya Isaacs. It was written about Isaacs' mother.

McBride really captures our hearts with this one, reminding us why she's one of the best in the business. 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It' impacts country radio on July 25.
