Miranda Lambert surprised the audience at boyfriend Anderson East's show Wednesday night (April 27) in Los Angeles when she walked out on the stage to perform a song with him.

East is currently on tour with Chris Stapleton, and he made a special appearance a few nights earlier for a riveting cover of the Temptations' "My Girl" with Chris and Morgane Stapleton. But this time, Lambert decided to join in on the fun, sharing a microphone with Morgane at California's Greek Theatre while once again East and Stapleton traded verses on the classic song. A fan in attendance captured a short clip of the experience.

Lambert and East made their red carpet debut as a couple earlier this month at the ACM Awards, where Lambert took home the trophy for Female Vocalist of the Year for the seventh consecutive year.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Lambert reveals that she's been writing a lot as of late. While she didn't say when fans can expect a new album, she did admit that she has been more honest to herself.

"I’ve spent a lot, a lot, a lot of time writing lately,” she says. “I’ve had more time than I’ve ever had, so I’ve been able to write every day. I think I’ve been more honest – to myself, even. Not being afraid to lay it all out there. As I’ve gotten older I’ve laid it out there less at times in my career but now I’m just like, ‘Here it is, here’s my story.’ You can relate because everybody goes through s–t."
