As expected, Miranda Lambert has announced that her shows scheduled for the rest of this week, through the weekend, have been rescheduled due to the death of Blake Shelton's dad.

Lambert's show in Charlotte, N.C. has been moved from Jan. 19 to Jan. 25, her Lexington, Ky. performance has been moved from Jan. 20 to Feb. 26, and her appearance in Greensboro, N.C. on Jan. 21 will now take place on Feb. 19.

"Thank you to the fans for all the support and prayers," Lambert said in a statement following her father-in-law's passing. "This is a really difficult time for our family, and the most important thing is being together. Tell your loved ones you love them. See you next week."

Dick Shelton passed away Tuesday (Jan. 17) with his family and loved ones by his side in their home state of Oklahoma after months of declining health.

Shelton has also rescheduled his shows for the remainder of the week to spend time at home with his family. Shelton released the following statement late Tuesday night: "I appreciate your understanding during this difficult time and thank you for all your prayers. Your support means the world to me. I love you guys."

Lambert's On Fire Tour, featuring Jerrod Niemann and Chris Young, is set to pick back up next week.
