Miranda Lambert was given a red carpet introduction by her soon-to-be husband Blake Shelton, who had a little comedy routine planned out before he would let his lady sing her song 'Heart Like Mine' at tonight's ACMs.

"I'm happy to say that in five weeks from right now, she and I will begin a new life as a married couple," Shelton said to set the stage for the next performer, his bride. He continued, "And end our current life as wedding planners."

The country-singer-turned-funny-man went on to clarify that, truthfully, he isn't a planner, but that he's just the guy who dishes out the money -- and even threw wads of cash across the MGM Grand stage to illustrate his point.

Following the hilarious lead-in, Lambert -- still sporting her hot pink dress -- laid down her song 'Heart Like Mine' into a hot pink microphone. Ironically enough, the first line, "I ain't the kind you take home to mama, I ain't the kind to wear no ring," is the exact opposite of what is soon to be her lifestyle.

Lambert was also up for Entertainer of the Year at the 2011 ACMs.
