Miranda Lambert Joins Instagram

Yee-haw! Songstress Miranda Lambert is country's newest addition to Instagram.

The singer joined the photo and video sharing site Thursday (March 27), and her very first post was, of course, to promote her upcoming album, streeting June 3. Lambert posted the album cover, adding, "Guess who is on Instagram! #platinummoment" much to the delight of her fans.

The next pic-post gives an inside look at a date night with her handsome husband, fellow country star Blake Shelton. The couple enjoyed a romantic fire at their outdoor fire pit, which even has 'The Sheltons' etched into the outside edge. "'Light it up and watch 'em burn' #hotnightswithhubby," she captions, nodding to her hit 'Kerosene.'

After joining Instagram, she gained a pretty 'automatic' following when fans realized she was a user. So far 84,000 followers are following, and counting.

On Sunday (April 6), the 'Mama's Broken Heart' singer is up for the prestigious 2014 ACM Entertainer of the Year award. Lambert's nabbed 10 of the past 13 awards she's been nominated for at the ACMs, definitely putting her in the running.
