Miranda Lambert has emerged as a style icon in the country music scene in the past two years, and she is capitalizing on her good taste and enviable style by launching a new line of women's shoes in the U.S. and Canada.

Lambert has partnered with Rich Footwear Group to help design a range of shoes that will include casual and dress pairs, as well as boots. Because really, we all know Miranda Lambert can't create a line of shoes without featuring boots! That would be uncivilized.

The entertainer will play a part in the design of the footwear, which she is particularly stoked about.

"From country to rock 'n' roll, my goal is to style shoes that fit your inner outlaw," the 'Mama's Broken Heart' singer -- who cleaned up at the ACMs on April 7 -- says (quote via Roughstock). "Being involved in the creative part and hands on development of my footwear brand is a dream come true."

The line won't be at retail until after the first of next year, but is is expected to be available at department stores and specialty chains, as well as national retailers.

"We could not be more thrilled to be developing this line with Miranda," says Rich Footwear Founder and CEO Gary Rich. "Her taste is only rivaled by her talent."

Lambert is quite enterprising when it comes to branding both her style and lifestyle. Her Pink Pistol boutique in Tishomingo, Okla. is quite a hit, selling everything from boots to jeans to gifts. She and hubby Blake Shelton are also opening a bed and breakfast in the town.

The Lambert brand is truly taking off.
