March 2011 brings spring weather (finally!) and more importantly, a bunch of great new country music releases, including 'Stronger,' the long-awaited sixth album from singer Sara Evans.

Spring is a time for renewal, which is very appropriate for Evans, who's finally back to making music after a long break caused by a messy divorce. "I cannot be creative unless my world is right,' she tells CMT. "A lot of people will say, 'You know when I was going through my divorce or when I was going through rehab or when I was going through whatever ... .' You always hear artists talk about, 'Those are the best songs I've written.' I'm the total opposite."

In addition to albums from country legends like Charlie Pride and Charlie Rick, March will also bring a handful of country records from folks who originally made their names in other fields. For example, the second album from comedian-author-bluegrass musician and all-around genius Steve Martin, 'Rare Bird Alert,' comes out on Mar. 15.

You can also expect a country solo album from Cheap Trick rocker Robin Zander, a bluegrass record from Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw, and 'Majestic Silver Strings,' a star-laden new album from producer-guitarist Buddy Miller, who's currently out on the road with Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant's Band of Joy.

Be sure to check back with Taste of Country throughout what's left of this cold, spiteful winter for news on these and other exciting new country music releases.
