Blue-eyed Scotty McCreery leads the October 2011 new country music releases with his debut album, 'Clear as Day,' which drops on October 4.

Out that same day, Rodney Atkins invites us to 'Take a Back Road,' while Montgomery Gentry state the obvious with 'Rebels on the Run.'

October 11 is another big day for new country music releases -- especially if you were on this season of 'American Idol.' Lauren Alaina will impact with her premiere album 'Wildflower,' and her country crush Hunter Hayes will drop his self-titled debut that day, too. It's a match made in music heaven! Martina McBride will slide by with 'Eleven' on the 11th, as well.

At the end of the month, Toby Keith will finally bring us the greatness of his latest, 'Clancy's Tavern,' and classic icon Vince Gill will make a comeback with 'Guitar Slinger.'

Forget Halloween, because the new country music releases will flow like candy corn this fall!
