New Songs on the Radio – August 2014
Even though school is starting back up and it's time for homework, papers, and pop quizzes, country fans can still have a rockin' August. Artists bringing fresh songs to the radio for August 2014 are relative newcomers (or new to solo careers), but they know how to play some good music. Tyler Farr, Thomas Rhett, Kristian Bush, and Chris Young all bring something to the table this month.
Farr's second single 'A Guy Walks Into a Bar' from his second album could easily be a huge hit for the singer, while Rhett's funky new hit 'Make Me Wanna' will make all country fans wanna get up and hit the dance floor.
Although Bush has been a country mainstay for quite a while with Sugarland, his new single marks a solo debut for the singer, and it's a keeper for sure. His unique style, along with the deeper message of the song, is a solid debut for him, with hopefully more to come. Young takes the traditional route with 'Lonely Eyes,' another new song on the radio for August 2014. The 29-year-old does traditional well, keeping it hot at the end of summer with a song sure to please plenty of ears.
Whew, that's a great list so far for new radio hits. Be sure to check back; you’ll find links to listen to all the new songs released to radio in August 2014, as this list will be updated as new songs are revealed.
