“I discovered this recipe on a road trip to St. Louis,” singer-songwriter Thom Shepherd tells Taste of Country of his delightful Pudding Shots recipe. “Some people at the festival I played at made these, and they were awesome! The next morning [songwriter] Wynn Varble and I spread some on a biscuit, as it looked like gravy. It was even good on biscuits!”

Pudding Shots Recipe Ingredients:
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup RumChata
1 box Jello Oreo Cookie’s ‘n Cream Pudding
1 8 oz container of Cool Whip

Pudding Shots Recipe Directions:

1. Whisk pudding and milk together.
2. Add RumChata and stir.
3. Fold in Cool Whip.
4. Spoon or pour into 2 oz souffle cups.
5. Place lids on and freeze.

You can let your imagination run free and create different flavors by substituting different alcohols and liqueurs and different pudding flavors.
