Scotty McCreery's 'Feelin' It' video finds him having fun with his real-life friends. The group frolics in the surf along North Carolina's coast, and while there's a playful romance between a few of the "actors," you won't find this singer puckering up with some strange girl.

McCreery tells Taste of Country he's not a fan of getting frisky with someone he just met that day. “If I wasn’t in a relationship with another girl," he says when asked if he'd be comfortable with that. "For me, that’s more of a respect thing where I like to keep it low key."

As for who's in his music video video, the Garner, N.C. native reveals that it's old friends and college pals. “The guy in the turquoise shirt and his girl, I’ve grown up with them as well," he spills. "I live with the guy in that blue shirt.”

The girl McCreery flirts with in the clip is the same girl he palled around with in the 'The Trouble With Girls' music video, also directed by Roman White. He's not worried about members of his "entourage" getting big heads, however.

“They’re really weirded out by it all," he says. "I kind of have to beg them to get in it because they’re weirded out by the camera and all that kind of stuff.”

The 'American Idol' winner tells Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex that the video was filmed in the Outer Banks, near Nags Head, N.C.

"It's actually the beach I grew up going to when I was a kid," he shares. "It was cool being back. I hadn’t been back there in years. It kind of made it more interesting than just being out in the middle of a field somewhere or out in front of a green screen."

'Feelin' It' is McCreery's second single from the 'See You Tonight' album, released last October. The 20-year-old is busy touring this summer while deciding whether or not to return to North Carolina State University in the Fall.

Sam Alex is the host of Taste of Country Nights radio, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 60 Townsquare Media Group stations nationwide.
