Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood became country music's first 'American Idol' winner in May 2005. She's since sold more albums than anyone in the show's history -- all four of her albums have gone Platinum or multi-Platinum. Underwood is the youngest of three girls born to Stephen and Carole. She jokes that she wasn't planned, and it seemed like she was an only child growing up in Checotah, Okla. After graduating second in her class, she studied Broadcasting in college before auditioning for 'Idol.' Romantically, she's had several high-profile boyfriends, including NFL quarterback Tony Romo and actor Chace Crawford. On July 10, 2010, Underwood married Mike Fisher, an NHL star who at the time played for the Ottawa Senators. They now live together in Nashville.
