Joey and Rory

Joey + Rory are Joey Martin Feek and her husband, Rory Feek. They married in 2002 and first burst onto the national scene as a duo in 2008 after competing on CMT’s 'Can You Duet?' Prior to that, Rory Feek was a successful songwriter, penning hits like “The Chain of Love” for Clay Walker and “Some Beach” for Blake Shelton. The couple have one child together. Baby Indiana was born in 2014, and the couple later shared that she had Downs Syndrome. Around this time Joey began receiving treatment for cervical cancer. She beat it, but it returned a year later. In Oct. 2015 Rory shared via his This Life I Live blog that his wife would no longer seek medical treatment, as the cancer was spreading too rapidly.
