Taylor Swift took home Best Lyrics honors at the 2015 iHeart Radio Music Awards for her song "Blank Space."

The single is from 1989, her very first official foray into pop. She beat out “All of Me” by John Legend, OneRepublic's “Counting Stars," “Habits (Stay High)” byTove Lo, ”Stay With Me” by Sam Smith and “Thinking Out Loud” by her good friend Ed Sheeran for the award.

Swift was on hand to accept the trophy, taking the stage wearing a sparkling black dress.

"This is amazing because writing lyrics is my favorite part of my job, and with this song in particular, seeing how people have captioned their Instagram picture with, 'Darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a day dream' was fantastic," Swift said.

She then went on to clarify the oft-misunderstood "lonely Starbucks lovers" line, saying, "I would like to clarify that the line is actually 'got a long list of ex-lovers.' I'm very lucky that that line and my song was misunderstood all over the world, and spent eight weeks at No. 1."

Swift will kick off the 1989 World Tour on May 20.
