Country queen turned pop star Taylor Swift is talking with Kayne West about the possibility of recording music together.

The 25-year-old singer discussed her relationship with her former enemy in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"We've never been in a studio together, but he's got a lot of amazing ideas," she shares. "He's one of those people that's just like idea, idea, idea. Like, 'What do you think of this? What do you think of that?'" she says of the Grammy winner. "He's very creative and like, I think we've talked about it but we've also talked about so many other things. I think I completely respect his vision as a producer. So, that's all I know now. I have no idea what the next album's gonna be, though."

Swift had an awkward encounter with Kanye at the 2007 VMA Awards, when the 37-year-old singer crashed her acceptance speech and told the audience Beyonce should have won the award instead of her. But it looks like the "Shake It Off" singer has been able to do just that, putting any awkwardness in the past and speaking positively about the possibility of collaborating together.

Swift's 2014 album 1989 marked her official transition into the pop realm. The album hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

"I'm not making the next record yet," says Swift, who is kicking off her 1989 World Tour next week. "That's going to take a lot of thinking about what that should be, because with 1989, I love this album so much that I think it would be doing a real disservice to this album to try and copy it the next time around. I think it’s going to have to be something very, very different, creatively."
