Competing in the 2014 Winter Olympics is obviously incredible, but even more so when you're just 18 years old like USA freestyle skier Torin Yater-Wallace. But receiving a personal good luck message from your celebrity crush, Taylor Swift, too? Well, that's gold.

The skier revealed that before events, he listens to the superstar's music. His devotion to the 'Red' singer has earned him points not on the judging panel, but in Swift's personal book.

"I wanted to wish all the winter athletes good luck, and Torin -- thanks for listening to my music while you practice," Swift says in a video shoutout to Yater-Wallace, wishing the rest of team USA good luck. "That's amazing."

When the skier heard Swift say his name, he was pleasantly surprised, blushing as he exclaimed, "Whoa. She said my name."

Yater-Wallace didn't stay modest for long, even laying out what he and Swift would do on a date.

"She's kind of a country girl, so ... we'll go to the Hickory House in Aspen and get barbecued ribs and maybe go to the hot tub at the Ritz Carlton ..." he shares, "and she can come over and we can see what happens after that."

All joking aside, the talented Olympian was gracious in thanking Swift for her sweet message. "I would like to thank you Taylor Swift for telling me good luck," says the athlete. "... She's one of the most beautiful people to walk on this planet."

Although he didn't end up on the podium, Yater-Wallace did score some award-winning attention from Taylor Swift!
