Taylor Swift's Red Tour was one of the best-selling global tours of 2013, landing at No. 8 on a year-end tally. However, in North America alone, the trek was the most successful tour of the year, hands down.

Swift and her Red Tour landed at No. 1 on the Top 100 Tours of North America, as reported by Pollstar. In the U.S. and Canada, the tour raked in $112.7 million, beating out rockers Bon Jovi by a few million bucks in receipts. Interestingly enough, Bon Jovi landed at No. 1 on the global tour list on which Swift placed eighth.

Additionally, Swift earned yet another accolade. The Red Tour was the most lucrative trek ever arranged by a country artist, which means Swift also beat her own previously established record of $97.7 million in 2011.

The list of highest grossing North American tours is here.

Congrats to Swift on another honor. Her fans show up in droves to support her and propelled the Red Tour, which hits the U.K. next month, to the top of the 2013 tour heap in her native North America.
