Superstar Taylor Swift's life currently seems to be a constant celebratory home run. She recently purchased a Rhode Island mansion, she's been named to People magazine's Most Beautiful People list and she genuinely cares for her fans. Now, she's appearing on the beloved Fox comedy 'New Girl,' and she's hit it out of the ballpark once again.

On the season finale, Swift cameos as a wedding guest named Elaine. Although the show's cast has remained quite elusive as to what the singer's role is in the episode, they're decidedly vocal about one thing: her talent.

'New Girl' star Jake Johnson tells EW that Swift was “very good” and jokes that her triple threat status was “a little bit frustrating. He explains, "She came in and is really nice. It’s not an easy scene. There were probably 70 extras there -- though I’m sure she performs to so much bigger [crowds] than that on a regular basis. She had, like, a little monologue and delivered it perfectly. Liz gave her alternative jokes and lines, she delivered them all perfectly. It was frustrating!”

Sounds like the 'Everything Has Changed' singer showed up and delivered, which is what she's been doing every night of her 2013 Red Tour. The showrunner of 'New Girl,' Liz Meriwether, raved about Swift's addition to the cast, also. “She kind of came and nailed it," she said, hinting at what's to come: "She did a little bit of a riff on one of her songs."

Swift has been interested in acting for a few years, as she explained last year that her entertainment career began in acting, not music. She's found some success in the Hollywood world, on ventures such as 'The Lorax' and a possible Joni Mitchell film. We'll have to see if the talented Swift will continue feeling satisfied with her acting in music videos and during her theatrical concerts, or if she'll embark on an acting career. For now, 'New Girl' is a great way for her to gain experience on a hit show. The season finale of the show -- featuring Swift -- airs May 14.
