When Taylor Swift has strong feelings for someone or something, she's not afraid to admit it; the declarations are all over her albums. Well, the singer admits that among her deepest loves is a certain holiday taking place very soon -- and its signature colors are 'Red' and green.

That's right, Swift is totally in love with Christmas. The songstress doesn't just love Christmas -- she's sort of obsessed with it. “I grew up on a farm. It was a Christmas tree farm though, so that’s why I’m sort of obsessed with Christmas," she says.

When you grow up on a real, live Christmas tree farm, it seems that a prerequisite would be to love the eggnog-filled holiday. "Yeah, I really love Christmas," continues Swift. "I wish it was all year round, just like for the feeling that everybody has. Everybody’s buying gifts for each other and there’s sort of a feeling about it."

One of the not-so-fun things about growing up on a Christmas tree farm is the bugs -- specifically, praying mantis'. Swifties will remember that when the songstress was little, she was in charge of knocking the praying mantis pods out of the trees -- and one time, she forgot to check and they hatched all over an unsuspecting buyer's home.

Apparently, that little mishap didn't tarnish Swift's love for Christmas in the least. And, the '22' singer turned 24 during the month of December as well, making it the very best month, indeed.
