Taylor Swift fans will want to tune in at 8PM ET on the dot tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 10, for the 2013 Grammys. That's because the singer is opening the show! That's a big deal -make that huge- and the powers that be are saving the best for first, as opposed to last.

Swift told Ryan Seacrest during a radio chat that she found out she was the show opener after confirming her performance. "Like a week ago they call us and are like, 'Oh, by the way, you’re opening the show.' It just surprised me I was going to go first."

It doesn't surprise us. The show is looking to start on a high note and Swift had one of her most successful years ever in 2012 with 'Red,' which was bolstered by 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.' It's a wise choice to begin the festivities with one of music's brightest stars.

Swift said that its been "hectic" this week as she prepares for the opening number, telling the radio host that it's crazy and exciting at once.

The Grammys executive producer Ken Ehrlich did hint that this would a "Taylor Swift we've never seen before," which certainly adds to the excitement.

Tune in to see this new "Taylor Swift" tomorrow night.

Swift is also nominated for Record of the Year for 'WANEGBT' as well as Best Country Duo or Group Performance for 'Safe & Sound,' her duet with the Civil Wars.
