Taylor Swift has done it again.

The superstar's first official pop album, '1989,' surpassed the soundtrack to 'Frozen' in the last sales week of 2014 to become the best-selling album of the year, selling a total 3.661 million copies.

Swift's accomplishment is all the more amazing in light of the fact that she released '1989' in October, meaning she sold more than three million copies in only the final quarter of the year. 'Frozen' was released in November of 2013 and has sold more than 3.865 million copies since then, but only 3.53 million in 2014.

According to Billboard, '1989' sold 326,000 copies last week, while 'Frozen' sold 64,000. The industry trade magazine reports that this marks the second time Swift has scored the top-selling album of the year; her second album, 'Fearless,' sold 3.22 million copies to become the top album of 2009.
