Two new challengers will square off today, as Drake White's 'The Simple Life' has been retired to the Showdown Hall of Fame following a fifth straight win. Once again, the feel-good track blew away the competition, taking over 75 percent of the vote against David Nail's new song. 

Two superstars will battle today and Thursday. Taylor Swift has released 'Red' as the next country single from her latest album. The uptempo heartbreaker is a fan-favorite from 'Red,' but the same can be said of Trace Adkins' new single. 'Watch the World End,' a duet with Colbie Caillat, is one fans keep coming back to on his new album 'Love Will ...'

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
