The Band Perry performed their gigantic hit 'If I Die Young' at the 2011 American Music Awards tonight. If we're guessing correctly, they probably shouldn't get too comfortable in their seats, as they'll probably be picking up a bunch of awards for that same song.

As usual at these events, Kimberly Perry was decked out in a big fancy red dress, with her brothers Reid and Neil wisely keeping things simple. One of the boys, however, did sport an untied tie -- a fashion choice that had us perplexed, too.

On to more important things, though: The trio performed the song well, with a big, full sound thanks to their backing band. And as usual, they seemed appreciative of the audience's time.

Tonight, the three were up against Jason Aldean and Taylor Swift for best Country Album.
