Thomas Rhett knows a thing or two about picking successful singles. Fresh off his six-week No. 1 with "Die a Happy Man," Rhett's follow-up single "T-Shirt" also topped the country charts. "T-Shirt" is No. 1 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts as of June 6.

"I never would have imagined when I started on this journey that I'd have six No. 1s in a row,” Rhett says in a press release.

Following the success of "T-Shirt," Rhett has selected "Vacation" to be his next radio single. The feel-good summer anthem just might mark a seventh No. 1 for the singer.

"'Vacation' is fast becoming one of my favorite songs to play live. It's all about letting loose and having fun, wherever you are, and that's what we want people to do at our shows," he adds. "We want our shows to be a mini vacation for everyone, from the front to the back. And hopefully, if you are stuck in traffic or on your way to work, this song will take you to that place for a few minutes."

Rhett will perform “T-Shirt” during the 2016 CMT Music Awards on June 8. He will also co-host the 2016 CMA Music Fest television special, Country's Night to Rock,  with Brett Eldredge, which tapes later this week in Nashville.

“Our personalities are so in line with each other,” Rhett tells People of his relationship with Eldredge. “We just have a good time together on and off stage.”

Rhett says CMA Music Fest was always the biggest event of the year for him as a country fan.

“Some of my favorite memories are me and my buddies sitting in the nosebleeds watching our heroes play,” he shares. “It’s surreal and a huge honor to be hosting and performing on this stage.”
