Toby Keith’s OK Kids Korral to Help Children With Cancer
Toby Keith has a new charity, the OK Kids Korral, which is a branch of the Toby Keith Foundation that targets the specific needs of children with cancer. The OK Kids Korral provides a housing solution where pediatric cancer patients and their families can stay for free while they’re receiving treatment at the Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma, and it is working in partnership with Ally’s House, Keith’s charity that gives financial help to children with cancer.
The country star hopes to take the burden off patients who often must travel hours a day to receive treatment by providing for their emotional and financial needs and to giving their families a state of the art facilities where they can connect with each other for much needed love and encouragement.
The Toby Keith Foundation asks people to partner with them so they will never have to turn away a child battling cancer, and will in turn build a hopeful place for the children and their families.
Ways you can help are by establishing an endowment to maintain the OK Kids Korral and to keep their operations strong. For more information, head to Keith’s official site.
