‘Glee’ Confirms Toby Keith’s ‘Red Solo Cup’ to Be Featured in December

If Toby Keith wasn’t a fan of ‘Glee‘ characters Sam and the rest of the New Directions already, he will be early next month. The country singer’s viral hit ‘Red Solo Cup’ is scheduled to get the ‘Glee’ treatment courtesy of Chord Overstreet‘s character in the Dec. 6 episode.

According MJ’s Big Blog, episode eight this season will feature ‘Red Solo Cup,’ ‘Survivor’ by Destiny’s Child, ‘I Will Survive’ by Gloria Gaynor and a number of Michael Jackson songs. The video for ‘Red Solo Cup’ went viral within days after Keith uploaded it to YouTube. To date, over three million people have watched the star-studded clip. The song is also a top seller on iTunes, and is rapidly approaching the Top 30 on Billboard country charts. Keith is also taking on Scotty McCreery during this week’s Taste of Country Showdown.
