Women ruled at the 2018 ACM Awards. You'll find female country artists in each of the Top 5 moments from the Las Vegas awards gathering with a legend and modern legend battling for the top spot.

Reba McEntire was a joy as host, spitting one-liner after one-liner and never getting stuck if a joke didn't work. She kept it light after a brief emotional moment at the very beginning of the show. The Route 91 Harvest Festival tribute was touching, but not memorable enough to make this Top 5 moments list. Not so sure? Ask yourself this: In five years, will fans be talking about that, or the return of that red dress?

Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina's "What Ifs" was one of three performances to make this list. So too did McEntire with Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood with her return to television/the debut of "Cry Pretty." This was an explosive, vulnerable moment that left the singer trembling with emotion afterward. You both felt happy and sad for her as she was pulled back to the stage to accept an award seconds after finishing a performance that elicited a long, powerful standing ovation.
