This song comes from Tracy Lawrence's most successful album, 1996's 'Time Marches On.' The slow, earnest love song doesn't waiver in its commitment to country fans. The same could really be said of all of this singer's hits -- no would will ever call him "pop." 'Stars Over Texas' reached No. 2 on the Billboard charts while becoming a favorite at weddings over the next decade.

"As long as the tides ebb / The earth turns the sun sets / I promise I'll always be true / And as long as there's stars over Texas / Darling I'll hang the moon for you," Lawrence sings. It may not be the most unique story, but the singer's sincere delivery earns him a place on the Top 100 Country Love Songs list.
