Trent Harmon has made easy work of the most recent Showdown round. He took nearly 80 percent of the vote, and will now go on to face a challenge from the legendary Steven Tyler today and over the weekend.

Harmon's new song is "There's a Girl," and it's a big turn away from his scorching debut single, "Falling," into a sweet country ballad. His fans love it, voting overwhelmingly to support the American Idol champion.

Tyler is getting ready to finally release his much-anticipated country solo album, and he's just dropped its title song, "We're All Somebody From Somewhere," as its third single. The song celebrates the differences that make us all unique, as well as the spirit that pulls us all together, and allows Tyler to show off some of his signature vocal stylings in a new setting. Can he get past Harmon's enormous voting block?

Listen to clips of both Harmon’s and Tyler's songs and vote for your favorite here. This poll will be extended until Wednesday due to the July 4 holiday on Monday. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Wednesday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Monday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
