Valentine’s Day Memories: LoCash Cowboys

"When I was in the third grade, I wanted to buy the girl I was going with something special for Valentine’s Day. Of course when you’re in the third grade, you don’t have a lot of money, so I asked my parents for a little more allowance. They gave me five dollars, and then they took me down to the drug store so I could look around for something for my sweetie. I found what I thought was the perfect gift – some ‘E.T.’ pencils. There were four or five of them in the pack, and each pencil had a different scene from the movie on it. I couldn’t wait to give them to her. Apparently she didn’t think they were as cool as I did, and she ended up breaking up with me after that [laughs]!"
