The title of Luke Bryan's new album gets turned on him in a new video that presses the singer to name everything that makes him country ... in less than 30 seconds.

It's not easy. During this clip — premiering exclusively on Taste of Country — Bryan starts strong with catfishing, bass fishing, brim fishing and four different types of hunting. We agree that dog training is pretty country. "Truck owning" counts as well, but after about 15 seconds the ticking clock starts to squeeze the good country ideas out of him and he struggles.

"Whisky, beer, bonfires ..." Bryan says, visibly hurting for more ideas before blurting out "Hot wife!"

That might be a stretch. We're not going to argue about Caroline's good looks, but no one has ever accused John Legend of being country. Although come to think, of it Mr. Chrissy Teigen did once appear with Florida Georgia Line at an awards show, so maybe.

What Makes You Country is Bryan's sixth studio album and features the rocking title track, his current single "Light It Up" and the reflective, socially necessary "Most People Are Good." The title track, he says, is a statement song.

"I would be foolish to say I don't get frustrated with people picking me apart about not being country when I know I'm country," Bryan says. "And I said 'Well, Taylor Swift did it in 'Shake it Off' ... When I heard that I was like, 'You go, girl, that's the way you go about it.'"

Look for Bryan on the What Makes You Country Tour in February, and on ABC's American Idol beginning in March.
