One night after kicking off the Jekyll + Hyde Tour in Nashville, Zac Brown Band canceled a concert scheduled for Evansville, Ind. The singer lost his voice, forcing them to reschedule the May 2 concert.

A note at the band’s website explains the situation: “Zac has lost his voice and we won't be able to perform tonight. Consequently, we need to postpone our date at the Ford Center and apologize to all our fans.” No reschedule date was provided.

ZBB's next scheduled show is on May 7 in Raleigh, N.C. The “Homegrown” band will play two shows in Alpharetta, Ga. on Friday and Saturday, and keep a full schedule throughout May.

The Nashville show featured several covers and almost the entire Jekyll + Hyde album. Kid Rock and Drake White were two surprise guests during the two-plus hour concert. Covers included the Beatles' "Let It Be" and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." LED lights and a massive three story stage were some of the visual highlights. The band had warmed up in Tupelo, Miss. two days earlier, but Friday night’s concert was the official kickoff of the 2015 tour.

Jekyll + Hyde was released April 28. The band’s fourth studio album includes the No. 1 hit “Homegrown” and their new single "Loving You Easy." Later this summer they'll make history by becoming the first band to play Boston's Fenway Park for three straight nights.
