Adley Stump recently released her latest single, "Ex to See," and now she's filmed a new video that is premiering exclusively at Taste of Country.

The song is a cover of the Sam Hunt track that was featured on his debut EP. "I've had huge admiration for Sam Hunt this year both as a writer and in the way he doesn't restrict his artistry to other people's definitions," Stump says. "Choosing to cover this song was not only to pay homage to Sam, but to try a woman's point of view on the track and show my fans a different side of my musical influences. You don't cheer for 15 years and walk away without wanting to drop the beat every now and then!"

Stump collaborated with Cliff Brown on the track, and the video above shows them working together to put their own spin on Hunt's original.

"Cliff Brown had some great ideas in re-creating the track to help make it our own while still maintaining its integrity; I love what he brought to it," she tells us.

Stump first caught the public's attention during her run on Team Blake during Season 2 of The Voice. Her new album is Like This (Deluxe), which also features the single "Stay at Home Soldier," dedicated to “the support, appreciation, and celebration of those who represent the mindset and values of our nation’s military within their own communities.”

She says she's revealing something different about herself musically with "Ex to See."

"I learned a lot about myself recording this song," she says. "I like that it maintains the integrity of the high-energy show we have always offered, but we get to try expanding that in a new way, integrating an artist I deeply respect."

Stump's cover of "Ex to See" is available for download via iTunes.
