Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift + More Nominated for O Music Awards 2

Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift and even Dolly Parton are apparently super hip in the digital world. The trio of country artists are each nominated for O Music Awards this year for their great innovation in the social media realm. With categories like Best Lyric Video and Most Outrageous Tweet, the O Awards aren't your average red carpet show. Still, country music managed to battle its way into some of the hottest lists.

Miss Parton may be old school, but she's relevant on the scene. The big blond hitmaker was nominated for having one of the best vintage viral videos for her 1974 'That Good Ole Nashville Music' recording of 'Jolene,' battling rockers Metallica and Nirvana, among others.

Shelton, who is notorious for his out-there (drunk) tweets, is the guy you need to know if you're looking for a laugh on Twitter. The 'Honey Bee' singer is nominated against Lady Gaga and Snoop Dogg for the Must Follow Artist on Twitter. Country or not, we don't disagree one bit with that nod!

Swift's nomination isn't surprising, given that her music transcends the realm of both pop and country music, and that her fans span age groups young and old. Taylor Nation is dedicated to their No. 1 girl, and we hope they'll pull through to vote themselves into a win against Justin Bieber's Beliebers and Lil Wayne's Team Weezy.

While those three are the only artists representing country music right now, what's unique about this awards show is that fans can rally through Facebook and Twitter to have their favorite artists added to the poll, so get voting!
