Country music fans who also like hockey are in heaven this season, as the Nashville Predators are ripping it up with A-list musical guests at their 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs games.

On Thursday (April 12), the team opened up their first game of the series with Rascal Flatts performing the Anthem that night. On Saturday, they welcomed none other than Brad Paisley to do that honor. Paisley gave a stripped-down, moving version of the Anthem, accompanying himself on guitar. And then, as he aptly noted on Twitter, Paisley was ready to root the team on.

It seems as if this kind of star power is going to be a welcome trend for the Preds' playoff games in 2018. Both Carrie Underwood—the wife of Predators captain Mike Fisher—and Predators President and CEO Sean Henry hinted to fans that lots of surprises would be in store this season.

The Predators' tradition of inviting country superstars to perform the National Anthem prior to their playoff games began during the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. To date they've hosted Underwood, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and Trisha Yearwood, in addition to the Flatts.
