Carrie Underwood’s roster of No. 1s just became 25 deep with her latest hit, “Dirty Laundry.” The singer just earned the No. 1 spot with the song on the country radio charts, marking her fourth No. 1 from Storyteller alone. Written by Ashley Gorley, Zach Crowell and Hillary Lindsey, the song is a feisty track about adultery and betrayal that Underwood sings with conviction — though she and husband Mike Fisher are happily married.

“He knows I sing country music, and cheating songs are a part of the territory,” she told Yahoo when asked what Fisher thinks of some of her material. “He’s all right with it!”

Underwood says she loved the song for its new take on a familiar trope — the cheating husband with the tell-tale lipstick on the collar — turning it into a nonchalant dismissal of the man entirely.

"It’s not so angry, it’s not too, like ‘I’m gonna get revenge,’” she says, noting its difference from her mega-hit “Before He Cheats.” “It’s more like, ‘I’m over it, I don’t care, I’m done.’”

Underwood is slated to perform at the 2017 Grammy Awards, but overall, now that she’s wrapped her tour with Keith Urban in Australia, she says she’s ready to ease up a bit this year.

“I think I’m gonna enjoy a little time with my family and then start writing, maybe, and just seeing what I’m ready to do,” she says. “I don’t know. There’s no real plans.”

Unfortunately, the to-do list probably does include house cleaning, she concedes.

“There’s always stuff to do. I feel like my house is a wreck, so I’m like, ‘I’ve got to get this in order,”” she says. “Being home off the road, every time we go home for a little short 24, 48-hour stints, I just drop stuff off and leave again. And now I’m trying to make sense of life.”
