Every year, hundreds of thousands of country music fans flock to the streets of Nashville for CMA fest. The four-day Country Music Association festival is filled with great music, southern food and lots of country music stars. But before the celebs take to the stage, plenty of them line up on the softball field at Nashville's Greer Stadium to participate in the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game.

All of the proceeds from the event help fund cancer prevention and treatment programs. The 2011 game raised nearly $200,000 thanks to more than 5,000 attendees. The City of Hope Celebrity Softball game's history stretches back 22 years -- in that time, more than $2 million has been raised for the organization.

This week, the much-anticipated roster for the 2012 softball game were announced. You won't be disappointed! The following participants will be split into two teams: Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, Brantley Gilbert, Lauren Alaina, David Nail, James Otto, Robin Meade, Scott Hamilton, Chuck Wicks, Whitney Duncan, Bucky Covington, Sarah Darling, Billy Gilman, Kristen Kelly and Two Foot Fred. The teams will be called the Grand Ole Opry and AfterMidnite With Blair Garner.

Tickets for this year's game, set for June 9 at Nashville's Greer Stadium, are already on sale through Ticketmaster. Don't miss your chance to see your fave country stars face off -- and hopefully talk some trash -- while raising money for a good cause. Let's play ball!
