Carrie Underwood vs. the Band Perry – Hottest Country Star of 2013, Round 1

It was another big year for Carrie Underwood. The singer watched 'Two Black Cadillacs' and 'See You Again' hit No. 1. She'll finish the year starring as Maria in 'The Sound of Music.' Of course, all this comes after her wildly successful Blown Away Tour. 

The Band Perry didn't exactly slack off by comparison. The family trio released 'Pioneer,' one of the best albums of 2013, and notched two No. 1 singles in 'Better Dig Two' and 'Done.' Their current single 'Don't Let Me Be Lonely' might be the best yet. The group was busy touring all summer while planning their first headlining tour for 2014.
