When Blake Shelton was named People's Sexiest Man Alive, it caused quite a debate, but Danielle Bradbery has found the humor in the whole situation.

During an interview with Taste of Country NightsBradbery admits that she finds it amusing that her former coach on The Voice scored the significant honor, which places Shelton amongst the likes of Matt Damon, George Clooney and fellow The Voice coach Adam Levine.

"I think it's funny," she says with a laugh. "Because knowing Blake, he's just milking the heck out of this because he's like, 'Oh I get to be called sexy and Sexiest Man Alive, okay, I'll put it in your face.' I can't wait to see how he reacts to Adam Levine about it because I know they're going to go back and forth."

Don't Forget These Other Sexy Country Men!

The young singer got to know both judges during her tenure on The Voice and was crowned the winner as a member of Shelton's team in 2013. Knowing how hilarious the country star is, Bradbery says he's deserving of the honor, but admits she wasn't surprised when she read his quip about the publication "running out of people" to select for the title. "I was like, 'Of course you'd say that,'" she chuckles.

Bradbery's latest album, I Don't Believe We've Met, dropped on Dec. 1 and debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. She tells Taste of Country that the album is a reflection of her growth as both an artist and person since the release of her debut album.

"I kind of had to tell myself, 'Okay, if you want to be this honest and real, you can't be afraid of doing it, you have to be confident about it.' It's been nerve-wracking, it's been every emotion, but it's been really cool to see the transition and know that this is what the second album is supposed to be and the reintroduction of myself," she says.
