There is no doubt that Frankie Ballard is one of the hottest stars on the rise on the country music scene. His debut hit, 'Tell Me You Get Lonely,' won fans over nationwide, and his latest single, 'A Buncha Girls,' is well on its way to becoming a blockbuster smash for the sexy singer. Both tunes will be found on his first full-length album, which is currently slated for release in May. Fans who cannot wait until then can log onto his website to purchase his exclusive 'Tour Six Pak' EP.

In May, Ballard will hit the road with Taylor Swift on the first leg of her 2011 Speak Now World Tour. In between tour stops, Taste of Country was able to snag a few minutes with the blond-haired, blue-eyed heartthrob to find out some interesting facts that all of his diehard fans are wanting to know!

What has been the most random thing you’ve autographed out on the road?
I signed a girl's cheek … it was a facial cheek.

What one song do you wish you had written?
It would be shallow if I said ‘I Will Always Love You’ or that 'Titanic' song ... that would be for financial reasons. But as a songwriter and something that I would hang my hat on: ‘The Gambler.’ It’s such a cool song. Or ‘Coward of the County,’ another Kenny Rogers song. Those songs are so good.

What is something you currently own that you never plan on getting rid of?
My grandpa’s dog tags from World War II. They’re in this shadow box things with a bunch of his other metals.

What are you most comfortable wearing on a day off?
I definitely like to dress differently. I’ve got some random outfits. I’ve got a pair of DieHard work boots. They are so beat up and broken in that they’re like slippers. I like to wear those. They’re definitely not fashionable, but they’re comfortable, and I’m not afraid to get them dirty.

What are some things on your bucket list?
I sure don’t like the thought of kicking the bucket. One is to not have a bucket list [laughs]! I’d like to wrestle an alligator and fly a fighter jet.

What stresses you out?
Money definitely doesn’t stress me out. I really don’t care about money … I probably should a little more [laughs]! It really stresses me out to think about what other people think about me.

What are three things you cannot live without?
Sunflower seeds -- well, I could probably literally live without them -- but sunflower seeds, a guitar and black ChapStick.

What is something you always have in your fridge?
Tombstone frozen pizzas!

What is a hobby your fans would be surprised to learn about you?
Something boring like working out or golf [laughs]. I don’t really have any hobbies.

What is the last piece of advice that someone gave you that you actually followed?
It’s better to look good than feel good [laughs].
